Seal: prevent the leakage of fluid or solid particles from the adjacent mating surface, and prevent the external impurities such as dust and moisture from invading the materials or parts inside the machine and equipment.
2. Different precautions
(1) Before designing the groove, please read the instructions of each series of products, and make sure that the whole groove or sub groove is used for this product; pay attention to avoid sharp edges when installing the seal, and use the installation tool to install the hole seal into the whole groove; the designer shall consider the dimension accuracy, surface roughness, extrusion clearance, etc. of the groove. See product description, chart and dimension table for details.
(2) Before installing the seal, make sure that there are no impurities and cracks in the seal groove. The sealing groove and the sealing groove surface are respectively coated with working oil. The seals shall be installed step by step in sequence. The sharp edge of the seal shall be avoided during installation, and the seal shall be centralized to avoid deformation and deviation. If the grooves separate, tighten the cover last.
(1) Preparation and precautions before startup
a. Comprehensively check whether the mechanical seal, accessories and pipeline installation meet the technical requirements.
b. Static pressure test shall be carried out before the start of mechanical seal to check whether the mechanical seal leaks. If there are more holes, we should find out the reasons and try to eliminate them. If it is still invalid, it shall be removed, inspected and reinstalled. The general hydrostatic test pressure is 2-3 kg / cm 2.
c. Rotate the disc according to the pump, and check whether the disc is light and even. If the rotation is laborious or immovable, check whether the assembly dimension is wrong and whether the installation is reasonable.
(2) Installation and shutdown
a. The enclosure shall be filled with liquid prior to start-up. When transporting the solidified medium, the sealing chamber is heated by steam to melt the medium. Before starting, turn the car around to prevent the soft ring from breaking due to sudden starting.
b. For mechanical seals using the pump external seal oil system, start the seal oil system first. Stop the oil seal system after parking.
c. After the hot oil pump stops, the cooling water and end seal of the seal chamber cannot stop immediately. Stop cooling water only when the oil temperature at the end seal drops below 80 ° C to avoid damaging the seal.
a. If there is slight leakage after the pump starts, please observe for a period of time. If the leakage does not decrease after 4 hours of continuous operation, stop the pump for inspection.
b. The working pressure of the pump is stable, and the pressure fluctuation is not more than 1kg / cm.
c. During the operation of the pump, vacuum pumping shall be avoided to avoid dry friction and seal damage.
d. The sealing should be checked regularly. During operation, when the leakage exceeds the standard, the heavy oil is less than 5 drops / min and the light oil is less than 10 drops / min. if there is no improvement trend within 2-3 days, stop the pump and check the sealing device.
